Mentoring
Mentoring is an essential component when learning a new skill to help you build and develop your practical ability and confidence. It allows you to benefit from the years of experience gained by your mentor. This can help you fast track your career and avoid years of trial and error.
Mentors
A mentor is an experienced and trusted advisor who provides personalised guidance and takes a personal interest in you. A mentor and mentee relationship is a very close one, generally between people of similar backgrounds, but one (mentor) is more experienced in a particular field.
Mentors don’t ‘teach’ but advise and impart knowledge to help in the finer points to allow the mentee apply their skills. The mentee should already be skilled in said subject to a degree.

Testimonials

Owen Walls, Govan Dental Care
I have worked with Omar as my mentor for implant work for 4 years. He is calm, supportive, reassuring, available and non-judgmental.
Everything you want in a mentor and genuinely a nice guy who cares about you and your patient’s outcomes.

Bilal Alvi, Dental Studios
Omar has been helping me progress with my implant journey, mentoring me for surgical placements. He is calm and a great teacher, giving lots of useful tips. I feel this has helped me progress my surgical skills much quicker. He is extremely approachable and is always on hand to help whether it’s a simple text or a phone call about a case.
