Single Implants

Implants can be an effective solution even for one missing tooth

Single Missing Tooth

A single missing tooth can have major impact on the way your smile looks, how you talk and also how well you can chew food. This is most obvious when a front tooth is missing but also when you have a missing back tooth.

When a single tooth is missing a dental implant is used to replace as close as possible, what was previously there. The dental implant replaces your missing root and a porcelain crown replaces the missing tooth from your mouth.

FAQs

Can the implant be placed the same day as my tooth comes out?

If you have a broken or damaged tooth that needs to be removed, then in some situations it is possible to remove the tooth and place an immediate dental implant at the same visit. However, in most cases this is not possible and we need to give your body time to heal before placing the dental implant.

How long do implants take to heal?

Once in place, the dental implant needs a few months to fuse with your bone and then we can make the porcelain crown to replace your missing tooth. On average it can take between 4 to 6 months to have your treatment completed.
